Fall Beach Classic Results 
GULF SHORES, Al – The Stephen F. Austin men’s golf team carded a final round 301 Tuesday at the Fall Beach Classic. The Lumberjacks finished with scores of 301-295-301 – 897 to finish in 9th place.
Junior Blake Pugh was SFA’s top finisher, firing a final round 74 to finish tied for 18th at 222. Sophomore Luke Sheehan carded a final round 78 to finish at 226, tied for 33rd.
Freshman Cory Brown capped his Lumberjack debut with a final round 76 to finish tied for 36th at 227. Junior Austin DeWitt bounced back Tuesday to card his low round of the tournament with a one-over 73. DeWitt’s final round was good enough to move 13 places to finish tied for 39th at 228.
Junior Cody Wing closed with a final round 86 to finish tied for 61st at 228.
The Fall Beach Classic was the final tournament of 2013 for the Lumberjacks. SFA will look to improve upon a successful fall campaign when their spring season opens in 2014.
