SFA Bowling Finishes 8th At Kutztown Invitational

READING, Pa. - The No. 13 Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks women's bowling team completed the final day of the Kutztown Invitational in eighth place Sunday.
SFA (44-22 overall) went 2-1 out of three best four-of-seven Baker matches position round bracket style. The Ladyjacks defeated No. 5 Fairleigh Dickinson (4-0) and Monmouth (4-3) while falling to No. 10 Kutztown (4-3).
Junior Nicole Parkhurst was the Ladyjacks top individual bowler, finishing 39th overall (1145 pins), followed by senior Dustie Hammond (79th-1005 pins) and freshman Melanie Crawford (91st-915 pins).
The Ladyjacks will be back in action Feb. 1-3 when they travel to Arlington, Texas for the Prairie View A&M Invitational.
