LINCOLN, Nebraska - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack bowling team will take part in a win-or-go-home match Friday morning at 8 a.m. in the loser's bracket against Calumet at the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships.
SFA (15th seed) began play on Thursday by falling to Webber International (2 seed). The loss dropped the Ladyjacks into the losers bracket where they defeated William Penn (7 seed) in a must-win scenario.
The tournament consisting of the top 16 teams in the nation, SFA finished day one with the 15th-most overall pin total (4,183).
If the Ladyjacks were to beat Calumet, they would then face the winner of Pikeville/Florida State.
