
Ladyjacks Fall 4-0 At Texas State In SLC Opener

SAN MARCOS, Texas - Texas State's Chandler Hall threw the second no-hitter of her career Friday to take down the Ladyjacks 4-0 in SFA's Southland Conference opener.
Hall allowed just a walk to Elizabeth Arana as SFA's lone baserunner and struck out six in seven innings of work. Carlie Thomas (3-7) took the loss for the Ladyjacks, allowing four runs, three earned, on four hits in six innings of work.
Texas State pushed across a run in each of the first and second innings and put a two-run spot on the scoreboard in the fourth inning.
Jordan Masek drove in two runs for the Bobcats and Selena Hernandez had the other RBI.
Friday's game was SFA's first contest since a March 7th loss at Louisiana-Monroe.
SFA (7-16, 0-1) will look to get back in the win column tomorrow when at 2 p.m. against Texas State.
