
Bowling Finishes Third At Tulane Invite

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks bowling team finished in third place at the Tulane Invitational, compiling a 2-1 record in match play Sunday afternoon.
No. 10 SFA (9-3) rallied after losing the day's opening match to Jackson State (4-2) to defeat North Carolina A&T (4-2) in round two and then got a bit of revenge defeating Jackson State (4-3) in round three.
No. 9 Sam Houston State won the tournament while No. 2 Arkansas State placed second. The rest of the tournament finished as so: Jackson State (4th), North Carolina A&T (5th), Prairie View (6th), Bethune-Cookman (7th), Louisiana Tech (8th), Tulane (9th), Southern (10th) and Grambling (11th).
The Ladyjacks will now have a week off before returning to action Nov. 2-4 in Elmwood Park, NJ at the Fairleigh Dickinson University Jamboree.
