
Robbins Named Srixon All-America Scholar Athlete

NORMAN, Okla. - Former All-Southland Conference selection, and four-year letterwinner, Kyle Robbins was named 2011 Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar Athlete Wednesday afternoon. Robbins was one of 138 NCAA Division I players named to the Academic All-America squad.
To be eligible for the Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar Athlete honor, athletes must be at least a junior academically, have competed for at least two years, compete in at least 70 percent of all competitions, record a stroke average below 76.0 and maintain at least a 3.2 grade point average.
Robbins has been one of the team's most consistent players over the course of his four years on campus. He closed out his career with the third-lowest stroke average on the team, including one top-10 finish. He also recorded a season-low round of 68 at the Sam Houston Invitational during the fall.
