'Jacks Cancel Scrimmage

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack football team has cancelled its scrimmage, which was scheduled for Saturday morning. The scrimmage, which was to be the first of the spring, will be rescheduled at a later date.

The Lumberjacks, who have reached the midway point of spring camp, finished their eighth of 15 scheduled spring workouts this morning. The football team will have a light week next week focusing on strength and conditioning prior to taking some time off for Easter.

SFA is scheduled back on the football field Wednesday, April 27th. The next scrimmage is slated to be the annual spring game Saturday, April 30th, at 5 p.m.
