Ladyjacks Open Conference Play at McNeese State

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin women's tennis team will travel to Lake Charles, La., Wednesday to take on the Cowgirls of McNeese State (3-2). After receiving the program's first-ever national ranking, the Ladyjacks hope to keep their 8-0 winning streak alive as they enter their first conference match of the season. Wednesday's match is slated to begin at 1 p.m. at the Nancy Hanks Tennis Center.
The Cowgirls enter the match having won three of their last four contests, but are coming off a 5-2 setback against Arkansas State. McNeese State's match against Arkansas State was its home opener.
The Ladyjacks defeated McNeese State, 6-1, in the lone matchup last season. SFA has three players who will be stepping on the court who recorded singles wins in last year's meeting.
