SFA Remains In Fifth Place At Kat Klash Tourney

HUNTSVILLE, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks bowling team remains in fifth place after day two of the Track Kat Klash Women's Bowling Classic at the Huntsville Lanes.
SFA went 3-2 in traditional team action Saturday and now have an overall record of 7-3 after two days of tournament action. The Ladyjacks defeated Jackson State (984-927), Texas Southern (987-833) and No. 2 Vanderbilt (948-917) but fell to No. 5 Nebraska (1,011-894) and No. 7 Sam Houston State (1,089-1,040).
Sixth-ranked Arkansas State sits in first place (9,310) heading into the final day followed by SHSU (9,263), Vanderbilt (9,169) and Nebraska (8,995).
Tournament action picks back up Sunday morning beginning at 8:30 a.m.
