
Lemke Makes First Signing For 2012 Bowling Class

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Ladyjack head bowling coach Amber Lemke has announced the first student-athlete signee of her first-ever signing class with the inking of Stephanie Sims on Wednesday.
"We are very excited for Stephanie to join our Lady Jack Bowling Family," Lemke said. "She comes in with a lot of tournament experience and has had great guidance through bowling thus far. Stephanie is going to add a spark to the team next year with her strong work ethic and dedication. We look forward to her attributing to the success of our bowling program at SFA for the next four years."
Sims, a senior at The Fairhill School in Dallas, has achieved all-district status in each of her sophomore and junior years and won second and third place, respectively, in state with her all-district teams. She has bowled in five leagues and takes multiple lessons each week.
In addition to bowling, Sims is also a member of The National Honor Society, The National Spanish Honor Society, The Thespian Troop, Student Council, in honor classes and a teacher intern. She has also played volleyball, basketball, golf and participated in track before dedicating her senior season primarily to bowling.
