Ladyjacks finish 14th in Bob Hurley Auto ORU Shootout

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin's women's golf team struggled in the final round of the Bob Hurley Auto ORU Shootout Tuesday. The women carded a 329-332-346--1007 to finish the tournament in 14th place.
Sophomore Aliece Anderson led the Ladyjacks the whole tournament and finished in a tie for 44th after shooting a 82 in the final round. Five strokes behind Anderson was junior Chelsea Simmons carding a 81-83-85--249 to finish in a tie for 54th.
Sophomore Rose Marie Henderson finished the final round shooting a 88 to finish in 60th place, while sophomore teammate Sara Jones finished in 69th.
The Ladyjacks return to the course for competition when they travel to Huntsville, Texas on October 10, to compete in the SHSU Harold Funston Invitational.
