Lumberjacks Finish Fourth At ORU Shootout

TULSA, Okla. - The Stephen F. Austin men's golf team finished up the Bob Hurley Auto ORU Shootout on Tuesday, working its way up one spot on the leader board after firing a 304-303-297-904 to place fourth overall out of 10 teams in the tournament.
Junior Stetson McMillan just missed an individual title when he fired 73-72-72-217 to finish second overall. Sophomore Mitchell McLeroy scored a 75-78-72-225 putting him in a tie for 14th, while senior Richard Wilkenfeld shot a 73 in the third round tying him for 27th overall. Junior Jared Johnson carded an 81-73-80-234 and redshirt freshman Michael McCall finished 54th shooting a 78-91-84-245 for the Lumberjacks. Individual player, junior Jordan Wynn, carded an 81-81-84-246 for the tournament placing him in a tie for 51st overall.
The Lumberjacks will return to action Monday, October 4th when they compete in the Wolfpack Classic in Tahoe, Nevada.
