Ladyjacks Struggle At ULM Fred Mark Invitational

MONROE, La. - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack golf team played hard, but struggled in the third round dropped a spot to 10th place overall at the ULM Fred Marx Invitational Tuesday afternoon.
Freshman Marissa Bransburg led the Ladyjacks finishing the tournament tied for 19th place after firing an 80-78-80-238. Senior Noelle Willcoxon shot an 81-80-84-245 putting her in a tie for 37th overall with sophomore Chelsea Simmons carding an 83-86-85-254 landing her in a tie for 54th place.
Freshman Aliece Anderson shot an 86 in the third round putting her in 60th place. Only two strokes behind Anderson was sophomore Allison Flake who shot an 80-89-91-260 putting her in a tie for 62nd overall for the tournament
The Ladyjacks will get back to competition on Monday, October 4th when they travel to Tulsa, Okla., to play in the ORU Shootout.
