
Lamar Game to be Televised

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Saturday's game against Lamar will be televised by KBTV Fox 4 out of Beaumont, Texas. The broadcast will also be picked up by the CW, KCEB out of Tyler, Texas, and can be viewed on local cable channel 17 in Nacogdoches, and channel 5 in Lufkin.
The Lumberjacks are 2-1 on the season after recording a 22-20 victory over No. 13 Northern Iowa Saturday in Cedar Falls. SFA jumped to No. 6 in the most recent Sports Network poll, and No. 7 in the FCS Coaches' poll. The 'Jacks were one of five teams to receive a first-place vote in the coaches' poll.
The Cardinals are one of the biggest surprises in the country this season entering Saturday's contest with a 2-1 record. Following a heartbreaking setback at McNeese State to open the season, Lamar has rattled off consecutive victories, including a 29-28 win over Southeastern Louisiana that the Cardinals score 21 unanswered points.
Saturday's game is set to kickoff at 6 p.m. from Homer Bryce Stadium. Tickets are available through the SFA Ticket Office at (936) 468-JACK.
