Bowling Hosts Second Annual Fundraiser Tournament

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The second annual SFA Bowling fundraiser tournament went off without a hitch on Sunday as 15, five-person teams competed at Texas Pro Bowl.
The teams competed in two qualifying games before the field was narrowed to the top eight seeded teams in a bracket-style format. The event was held to raise funds for the program, and gave out numerous door prizes throughout the afternoon. The field consisted of bowlers throughout the area and also included several members of the SFA athletic department.
The title match came down to the team from Tx Pro Bowl against That's What She Said, with That's What She Said taking the top spot after the head-to-head Baker match.
"We had a great time once again," head bowling coach Laura Cramer said. "This is the second year in a row that we have put this tournament on, and for the second year it was certainly a success. Our thanks goes out to all of those who participated and helped support our program."
Members of the winning That's What She Said Team included Jason Bell, Will West, BJ Clement, Ron Belanger and Howard Moore.
