Robbins Named Academic All-SLC

FRISCO, Texas - Junior golfer Kyle Robbins has been named Academic All-Southland Conference announced league officials Wednesday afternoon. It marks the first time in Robbins' career that he has received the honor.
An academic standout, Robbins guided SFA to its highest finish at the Southland Conference Championships since the 2005 season. Robbins led SFA with a 74.66 stroke average, on his way to third-team All-Southland Conference honors this season.
Robbins recorded a team best five top-10 finishes in 2009-10, including a top-five finish at the 2010 SLC Championships in Springfield, La. Robbins fired a one-over par 217 to record the second All-SLC honor of his career.
