Ladyjacks Climb to Sixth

MISSOURI CITY, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack golf team climbed one spot to finish sixth overall Tuesday afternoon at the HBU Intercollegiate in Missouri City, Texas.
Freshman Wallis Spears carded the team's lowest score with rounds of 82-77-81 to finish tied for 13th overall with a 240. Junior Noelle Willcoxon recorded the team's second-lowest score by finishing tied for 28th overall with a 254. Freshman Chelsea Simmons shot an 86-90-83 - 259 to finish tied for 33rd overall. Classmate Allison Flake finished seven strokes back of Simmons with a 266. Simmons finished the tournament tied for 36th overall. Freshman Erin Daurity posted a 258 to finish 43rd overall.
The Ladyjacks will take a week off before returning to action Monday, April 19th to compete in the Southland Conference Championships in Huntsville, Texas.
