NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Ladyjack bowling coach Laura Cramer has announced the signing of Christi Nedved to a National Letter of Intent to continue her career as a member of the Ladyjacks.
"Christi is a very good signing for our program," Cramer said. "Not only does she give us another quality player on our roster, but it is another signee from the DFW area, an area that we are trying to continue to recruit and sign quality kids from."
Nedved comes to SFA after an extensive playing career at Allen High School in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex where she helped lead the Eagles to the 2009 high school state championship, and had them in the title match once again one year later.
She was the co-captain of the AHS varsity squad in both 2009 and 2010 and finished in the top 25 at the Chris Barnes Youth Classic in 2009 out of more than 150 participants in the area. She also was part of the sixth-place team at the Teen Masters National Tournament in Las Vegas.
Nedved joins New Yorkers Brianne Buckert and Nicole Parkhurst as signees for the 2010-11 season for Cramer's squad.
