
Ladyjack Golf Remains Eighth

HUNTSVILLE, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack golf team remains eighth after shooting a 326 Tuesday morning in the second round of the Southland Conference Championships at Ravens Nest Golf Club in Huntsville, Texas.
Freshman Wallis Spears continues to lead the squad, but fell off her opening-round pace Tuesday morning. Spears is currently tied for 22nd overall with a 73-81 - 154.
Junior Noelle Willcoxon was one of four players who recorded the same score, or improved from their opening round of play. Willcoxon shot a 79 in the second round and is currently 31st overall. Freshman Chelsea Simmons is 35th after recording an 82-82 - 164. Classmate Allison Flake is 38th overall with a 90-84 - 174. Freshman Erin Daurity is only two strokes back of Flake with a 176. Daurity is currently 39th overall.
The Ladyjacks return to action Wednesday for the final round of action on the par 72 course in Huntsville.
