NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Ladyjack tennis team is back in the Southland Conference Tournament and is in competition this afternoon against the top-seeded Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions.
The match is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. at the Schleif Tennis Complex as SFA is hosting the entirety of the tournament.
The Ladyjacks made it into the tournament as the eight seed after picking up a crucial win last weekend over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi that eventually earned them the tiebreaker in a three-team knot for the final slot.
SFA is led by No. 1 player Roxana Enica who has 11 singles wins on the year, with five of those coming in SLC play. She will be matched up with the two-time SLC Player of the Year, Emilija Arnaudovska in No. 1 singles action.
The Lady Lions defeated SFA 6-0 back on March 11th in Hammond.
Should the Ladyjacks move on, they would face the winner of the 4/5 matchup between Texas State and UTSA.
