SFA Rewards Early-Bird Fans

The first 100 fans to arrive Saturday will get free admission to the season opener against Tarleton State

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Promotional schedule posters distributed this summer by the Stephen F. Austin athletics department encourage fans to "Wear Purple" and "Be Loud." For Saturday's season opener against Tarleton State, Lumberjack football fans can add a third set of instructions -- "Come Early."

The department is offering free admission to the first 100 fans to arrive for Saturday's game. Fans who wish to collect on the free ticket offer should come to the southeast ticket booth at Homer Bryce Stadium to claim their prize. The ticket booths open an hour-and-a-half before kickoff. Saturday's game is set to start at 6 p.m.
