
SFA Tennis Hosts Southeastern La., Nicholls State

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team will host Southeastern Louisiana and Nicholls State this weekend to wrap up their 2007 home slate. The Ladyjacks will face the Lions at noon on Friday before playing Nicholls State at 10 a.m. Saturday. Both matches will be played at the SFA Tennis Complex.
SFA has won two of its last three matches, sweeping Central Arkansas, 7-0, and taking a 5-2 win from McNeese State last weekend. The Ladyjacks are 5-10 overall and have a 2-5 Southland Conference record.
Southeastern Louisiana is currently leading the league with a 15-2 overall record and is a perfect 7-0 in SLC play. The Lions are No. 72 in the nation with No. 1 singles player Emilija Arnaudovska ranking 108th nationally.
Nicholls State is 8-7 overall and 3-4 in Southland Conference action. The Colonels have won their last two matches with 7-0 wins against both Alcorn State and Southern.
The Ladyjacks will close out their 2007 schedule Saturday, April 14 at Sam Houston State in Huntsville.
