Dixon Named SLC Offensive Player of the Week

NACOGDOCHES - Stephen F. Austin senior quarterback Zeke Dixon was named Aeropostale Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week league officials announced Monday afternoon.
Dixon guided the Lumberjacks to a 63-36 victory over Western Illinois Saturday night at Homer Bryce Stadium to improve to 2-1 (.667) overall. Dixon completed 15-of-24 (63 percent) passes for a career-high 363 yards and five touchdowns. Dixon was the catalyst for an offense that produced 663 yards of total offense against the Leathernecks, which is the fifth-best mark in school history.
The `Jacks return to action Saturday when they travel to Cedar City, Utah to take on Southern Utah. The game against the Thunderbirds is slated to begin at 6 p.m. (7 p.m. Nacogdoches time).
