
SFA Hosts UL-Monroe and Northwestern State

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team returns home this weekend to host Louisiana-Monroe and Northwestern State. The Ladyjacks will face Louisiana-Monroe (8-5/3-1) Saturday at 10 a.m. SFA will be right back on the court 24 hours later to take on Northwestern State (5-10/1-5) at 10 a.m. The Ladyjacks are 5-10 (.333) overall and 0-5 in Southland Conference play. Both matches will be played at the SFA Tennis Courts.
Great Scott Junior Kama Scott is having a strong junior campaign. Scott is currently 11-4 (.733) during the spring and is 17-8 (.680) on the season, and has won eight of her last 10 matches. She has played the Nos. 4 - 6 singles positions this season with a perfect 3-0 record at No. 4 singles and a 7-3 (.700) mark at the No. 6 spot.
Up Next ... The Ladyjacks will be on the road for two matches before returning for the regular-season finale against Sam Houston State. SFA will be in Thibodaux, La., Saturday Apr. 9, to face Nicholls State in a 10 a.m., match. The Ladyjacks will then travel to Hammond, on Sunday Apr. 10, to take on Southeastern Louisiana. The match against the Lady Lions is slated to begin at 10 a.m.
