'Jacks Go In Pads Wednesday Afternoon

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Following two days of acclimation, the Lumberjack football team will work out in pads for the first time this spring Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. This afternoon's practice is scheduled to last a little over two hours.
Following the workout, players and coaches will take a short break for the Easter holiday and return to practice Monday afternoon. Monday's practice is also scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m., but could be moved to an earlier time since there will be no classes on the SFA campus until 4:00 p.m. Monday.
Coaches have been pleased with the first two workouts of the spring and have noted that players have done a good job of learning some of the new things that have been taught in the classroom setting. Wednesday's practice in pads will give the coaching staff a better indication of how things have been picked up to this point.
