SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team dropped its second consecutive 4-3 decision in league play when Texas-San Antonio outlasted the Ladyjacks for the victory. SFA falls to 0-5 on the season in Southland Conference play.
The Roadrunners took a 1-0 lead after winning the doubles point. The duo of Harrison and senior Robin Houston picked up the Ladyjacks lone doubles win on the afternoon, defeating UTSA's Martinez and Barbara Mooney, 8-5, at the No. 1 spot.
The Ladyjacks return to action Saturday April 2, when they return home to face Louisiana-Monroe. The match against the Lady Indians is slated to get under way at 10 a.m., from the SFA Tennis Courts.
