Ladyjacks Complete Sweep With 7-6 Win

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.-- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack softball team (7-14) completed a doubleheader sweep of the University of Arkansas late Wednesday night with a 7-6 win in the second game of a non-conference doubleheader. SFA scored two runs each in the second and third innings and added a three run fourth inning to hold off the Ladybacks.
Lee Lara went 2-3 in game two with two runs scored as Tara Hersey did the damage at the plate with a 3-4 night, including three RBI. Her two RBI single in the fourth inning helped SFA to the win. Jessica Tullos added a solo home run for SFA, her second of the year.
Traci Moore also picked up the win in game two, working 2.2 innings while allowing three runs on five hits.
