SFA Takes One From Demons

NATCHITOCHES, La. -- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack softball team took the third game of a three game series, 8-4 Sunday afternoon to move to 1-2 in Southland Conference play.
Lee Lara went 1-4 with a two run homer to help ignite the SFA offense. Kacie Rees was 3-4 on the day with one RBI and Nicole Parrett and Sidney Rutherford collected two hits each.
Kaitlin Morrison worked 3.2 innings, allowing two runs on six hits to pick up the win for SFA. Nicole Carter came on in relief and worked 3.1 innings, allowing two runs on three hits to help SFA to the win.
