
Ladyjacks Host North Texas

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team will be looking for its second consecutive victory when it takes to the court Friday afternoon to host North Texas. The Ladyjacks enter the match with a 2-1 (.667) overall record. The Lady Eagles come to Nacogdoches with a 5-2 (.714) overall record, but have dropped two of their last three matches. The Ladyjacks dropped their season-opener to Louisiana Tech, but rebounded with wins against Grambling State and Centenary. The match against the Lady Eagles is slated to begin at 2 p.m., from the SFA Tennis Courts.
Junior Megan Langston is out to a quick start during the spring season, with a 2-0 record at No. 5 singles. The duo of senior Melissa Bass and sophomore Laura Harrison are also 2-0 on the young season.
The Ladyjacks will be back in action Saturday, Feb. 26, when the Ladyjacks will host Abilene Christian and North Central College in a doubleheader. The match against Abilene Christian will get under way at 9 a.m.
