Ladyjacks Open SLC Play at Home

NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team opens Southland Conference play this weekend when they face Louisiana-Monroe and Northwestern State. The match against ULM is scheduled to begin 1 p.m., on Saturday, while SFA squares off against Northwestern State at 11 a.m., on Sunday. Both matches will be played at the SFA Tennis Courts. The Ladyjacks are currently 2-4 (.333) on the season.
Great Scott: Freshman Kama Scott has been a pleasant surprise for the Ladyjacks this season. Scott has the best record for the Ladyjacks during the spring at 4-2 (.667). She is currently 4-1 (.800) at the No. 5 singles position.
Up Next... The Ladyjacks will be back in action Thursday Mar. 11th, when they travel to San Marcos to take on Texas State. The match against the Bobcats is slated to begin at 2 p.m. SFA will travel to San Antonio the following day to take on Texas-San Antonio in an 11 a.m., match.
