
'Jacks In Seventh Heading Into Final Round

Jeremy Ice, a senior from Pflugerville, shot rounds of 72-75 to pace the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack golf team on day one of the Shangri-La Shootout at Monkey Island, Okla. Monday. SFA enters Tuesday's final 18 holes of play in a tie for seventh place with Central Oklahoma. Austin Peay leads the event following rounds of 283-286 on day one.
Ice is in a tie for 18th individually and leads the SFA team with a three over par total of 147. Brian Grossman opened with a 69 Monday morning, but struggled to a 79 Monady afternoon, He enters day two in a tie for 27th.

T 65 Spencer Hutton 77-78
The tournament closes with 18 holes of play Tuesday. SFA hosts the SFA Southern Chrysler/Crown Classic next week at Crown Colony Country Club, in Lufkin.
