'Jacks Finish Ninth At Bearkat Classic

The 'Jacks shot a final round 304 Tuesday in the Sam Houston Bearkat Classic to finish in the ninth place, two shots back of McNeese State. SFA started the day in a tie for eighth and fell back one spot for the ninth place finish.
Trevor Sauntry posted his second top five finish of the spring, finishing alone in fifth place following a final round 71 to wrap up the 54-hole event with rounds of 76-68-71. Sauntry posted a fourth place finish earlier this spring at the Gulf Coast Classic.
Arkansas-Little Rock won the tournament, moving past Washington State and Oklahoma City University with a final round 287, the lowest round of the day.
