
Barnum Earns Second All-American Honor

Greg Barnum has been named to the Sports Network I-AA All-American team as an offensive lineman. The honor is the second in as many days for the 6-1, 302 pound senior center.
The Killeen, Texas native was named to the Sports Network second team offensive unit Friday, one day after earning third team Associated Press All-American honors.
Barnum helped anchor an offensive line that allowed only 12 sacks on the year while throwing over 300 passes. The Lumberjack offensive unit was the top passing offense in the SLC in 2002, avreaging 222.0 yards per game through the air. SFA's rushing offense also increased dramatically in 2002, averaging 166.6 ypg, as compared to only 92.0 ypg in 2001.
Barnum moved from defensive tackle to center last spring to help solidify the offensive front.
