Tennis Lands Three On All-Academic Team

Three members of the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team have been named to the 2001 Southland Conference All-Academic Tennis Team. Ashley Cagle, a senior from Nacogdoches, Amanda Tabisz, a senior from Plano, and Meredith Watson, a senior from Houston all earned the academic honor.
Only the University of Texas-Arlington placed more student-athletes on the team with four representatives.
To qualify for the SLC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have completed at least full year at their respective institution, earning at least a 3,0 cumulative grade point average.
