SFA Golf In Third Place Entering Final Round of Play

The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack golf team stands in third place at the UALR Intercollegiate Golf Championship, being held at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock, after opening rounds of 304-304 on the first day of play.
The 'Jacks are two strokes back of second place Arkansas State entering the final round of play. Only seven strokes separate third place from tenth place entering Tuesday's final 18-holes of play.
Tim Speichert led the 'Jacks on Monday with rounds of 71-74, and is currently in fifth place. Clint Bowden also stands in the top 20 after the first rounds of play, shooting rounds of 73-77, and enters the final day of play in a tie for 16th.
