Ladyjack Tennis Falls To Rice University

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Stephen F. Austin State University Ladyjack tennis team faced Rice University yesterday and fell 1-6. The Ladyjacks are 2-8 overall and 1-1 in SOuthland Conference play.
The single win for the Ladyjacks came from senior Meredith Watson (Houston, Tex). Watson played the three position and faced Rice University's Natalie Briaud. Watson won 6-3, 3-6 (10-4). Watson now has a record of 5-8 overall and 1-1 in Southland Conference play for singles.
The Ladyjacks will be back in action March 24 and March 25 both at 10:00 a.m. on the SFA tennis courts in Nacogdoches.
