Ladyjack Basketball's Winning Streak Broken By UC-Santa Barbara

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Stephen F. Austin State University Ladyjack basketball team fell to the UC-Santa Barbara Gouchos 62-57 today in William R. Johnson Coliseum. The Ladyjacks are now 22-4 overall and 17-0 in Southland Conference play.
The Ladyjacks fought hard as sophomore, guard Nathesia Wright (Arlington, TX.) led her team with 17 total points for the game. She was followed by junior, guard Latisha Prater (Cotton Port, LA.)
Seniors Patricia Brown (Houston, TX.) and Tami Rater (Mesquite, TX.) were honored before the start of the game. Both have had successful careers as Ladyjacks.
The Ladyjacks will be back in action Saturday, February 14, at 1:30 PM in Arlington, Texas. The Ladyjacks will be facing the Texas-Arlington Mavericks.
