'Jacks Finish Seventh at Herb Wimberley Classic

Trey Schroeder fired a final round 70, to lead the Lumberjacks to a seventh place finish over the weekend at the Herb Wimberley Classic, held in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
SFA shot a team total of 293 in the final round to finish at 16 over par for the tournament.
The University of Wyoming finished at -2, 862 tot ake the team title, with the University of Arkansas-Little Rock one stroke back at one under par, 863.
Schroeder, a senior from Pflugerville, led the way for SFA, finishing the tournament at one under par, 215 for the three round tournament. Schroeder recorded his first top 10 finish of the fall.
Junior Tim Speichert also recorded a top 15 finish firing rounds of 68-74-74. Speichert finished in a tie for 12th place.
