Dr. Linda Bobo

- Graduate Athletic Training Program Director
Dr. Linda Bobo received her doctorate from The University of Southern Mississippi. After being hired to serve as the program director at Stephen F. Austin State University in 2002, she created and established the professional graduate athletic training program. Along with co-authors Drs. Amanda Benson and Bill Prentice, they created the TherExAnywhere series of rehabilitation Apps and Connect to Principles of Athletic Training.
Her professional involvement has allowed her to serve on the CAATE as an active Peer Reviewer and on the Site Visit Review Team for many years. Additionally, she has resumed a role with the BOC Exam Development Committee as an item writer and item reviewer. As a practitioner, she enjoys volunteering with the USOC and USA Tae Kwon Do and is humbled to have been a recipient of two NATA Awards, Service and Most Distinguished, and induction into the first class of the ETATA Hall of Honors. As a person, she loves being with her two children, Parks and Kaitlin, her husband Billy, her rescued pets Neckbone, GiGi, Nola, and Diesel along with running, karaoking, and pounding the ivory keys.
