Ben Morrison is entering his second season at SFA after spending two years as an assistant and recruiting coordinator at St. Mary's University. During his time with the Rattlers, he coached an All-American, two All-Region players, and competed in the NCAA Tournament.
Prior to St. Mary's, Ben served as an assistant at Texas Lutheran University for one season. During that season, the Bulldogs finished in the top 3 in the conference and competed in the conference tournament semifinal.
In addition to college coaching, Ben has worked for U.S. Soccer as a Coach Educator since 2022. He has also coached for South Texas Olympic Development Program for 5 seasons, high school for 5 seasons, and club for 4 seasons. In his time coaching high school, he was awarded the TASCO Region IV Girls Coach of the Year in 2023, and three district Coach of the Year awards between 2020 and 2023.
Ben earned his master's degree in Sports Administration from Concordia University in 2021, and his bachelor's degree in Spanish from Baylor University in 2016. He also has his USSF B License and United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma.
