Mara Clark is entering her fourth season with the Track and Field / Cross Country staff as Director of Operations and Assistant Coach.
During the first three seasons with SFA, Mara has played a major role in assisting the team and supporting them to achieve 6 SLC Team Championships including: Men’s Indoor & Outdoor Track & Field titles, a Men’s Cross Country title, and a Women’s Cross Country title.
Mara has coaching experience from her tenure at Georgetown College, where she successfully led the throws program along with leading the strength and conditioning program for the sprinters and throwers. She had coached 2 athletes to NAIA Indoor and Outdoor championships, along with one of her athletes breaking the school record for shot put 4x in one season. Outside of athletics, Mara was a Kinesiology and Health Studies Professor for the College.
Mara attended Central Michigan University, where she was a three-year letter winner in track and field, specializing in the hammer, weight and discus. Clark was a 3x MAC conference qualifier in the women's hammer.
Clark graduated Central Michigan University with a degree in Clinical Science in 2021 and a Master of Science in Public Health in 2022.
