Jared Session - Associate Athletics Trainer
Jared Session is entering his first season as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at SFA working with Men’s Basketball and Women’s Bowling. Jared is a graduate of Texas Tech University where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and master’s degree of athletic training. As a graduate student, Jared worked in numerous settings that have given him experience from high school to professional sports. During his time at Texas Tech, he worked with the men’s basketball team during the 2022-2023 season where he assisted with health management and rehabilitation of players. Prior to working with Texas Tech’s men’s basketball team, Jared completed two internships in the NFL aiding with training camp and pre-season sports medicine responsibilities working with the Seattle Seahawks in 2022 and Dallas Cowboys in 2019. With the Seattle Seahawks, Jared was the recipient of the franchise’s Professional Football Athletic Trainer Society Minority Scholarship.
In his spare time, Jared loves staying active and trying new things. His hobbies include cooking and playing golf anytime he gets.
