Luke Stuart enters his first season with the SFA men’s basketball team after spending the last two seasons as a graduate assistant at the University of North Texas. He helped the Mean Green to a school record 17-1 home record and an NIT Final Four appearance in 2024-25. He graduated from UNT with a master's in higher education. Prior to North Texas, Stuart spent the 2022-23 season as a graduate assistant for UTSA's men's basketball program.
Stuart was a guard on Trinty University's men's basketball team. He played the 2020-21 season under new Lumberjacks associate head coach Jimmy Smith, helping guide the team to a conference regular season championship. He graduated from Trinity with a bachelor’s degree in environmental geoscience.
Stuart is a native of Lubbock, Texas. He earned first team all-state honors at All Saints Episcopal School, leading his team to a state championship as a senior in 2018.
