NACOGDOCHES, Texas – SFA Athletics has launched "Raise the Axe," presented by Buffalo Wild Wings, a new audio podcast created to take Lumberjack fans beyond gameday and share the stories behind the people who make SFA Athletics special.
The debut episode, "From First Opportunity to Forever Home with Coach Debbie Humphreys," is available now.
In the opening episode, SFA head volleyball coach Debbie Humphreys reflects on the opportunity that first brought her to Nacogdoches and how SFA ultimately became her forever home. Humphreys shares stories from her journey, the relationships that have shaped her career and what has made SFA such a meaningful part of her life.
"Raise the Axe" will feature candid conversations with SFA coaches, student-athletes, staff members, alumni, supporters and other special guests. Each episode will go beyond the scores and statistics to explore personal journeys, defining moments and the connections that make the SFA Athletics community unique.
