Saad Rifi Loutfi Named Male Southland Runner of the Week for the Second Time

FRISCO, Texas-Â The Southland Conference announced Cross Country Runners of the Week on Wednesday afternoon.
Saad led the Lumberjacks to an incredible fourth-place finish at a stacked Cowboy Jamboree and defeated No. 5 Oregon, No. 21 Tulsa and TCU. He finished 21st in the 8k with a time of 24:24.4. Saad played a crucial role in the Lumberjacks earning the No. 2 ranking in the USTFCCCA South Central Region Poll, which is the highest in school history.
