New student initiatives bring free admission, exclusive benefits and more ways for SFA students to connect with the Jacks.
NACOGDOCHES, Texas – SFA Athletics is elevating the student experience with Purple Haze, the official student section of SFA Athletics; the Lumberjack Sports Pass; and Beyond Gameday, a growing collection of benefits, giveaways and experiences created specifically for SFA students. And it is all completely FREE.

Purple Haze is more than a student section. It is where Lumberjacks come together, carry on SFA traditions and maintain the loudest and proudest student section in the Southland Conference.
Free Purple Haze membership gives students access to the Lumberjack Sports Pass, a FREE Purple Haze T-shirt, the weekly Purple Haze newsletter, exclusive opportunities and partner benefits.
Whether students are packing Homer Bryce Stadium, bringing the energy inside The Pressure Cooker or supporting the Jacks across campus, Purple Haze is their invitation to be part of it all.

LUMBERJACK SPORTS PASS
The Lumberjack Sports Pass is an SFA student's all-in-one pass to all SFA Athletics home games.
SFA students continue to receive FREE admission to home athletics events, but now that benefit has a new mobile home. Students can add the Lumberjack Sports Pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and use it throughout the year, at every venue.
Students begin by joining Purple Haze, complete the pass setup and save the Lumberjack Sports Pass to their mobile wallet before game day. Set it up once. Keep it on your phone. Bring it every time.

BEYOND GAMEDAY
SFA Athletics is launching Beyond Gameday, a year-round student engagement initiative designed to connect students with the Lumberjacks beyond traditional home games. Through exclusive mobile app giveaways, free food, special events and unique experiences throughout the academic year, Beyond Gameday will provide students with more opportunities to engage with SFA Athletics and build a stronger connection to the department.
Students can participate by downloading the SFA Athletics mobile app and opting in to student notifications. Throughout the year, the app will provide updates about upcoming Beyond Gameday activities, exclusive giveaways and additional opportunities available to SFA students.
