
Men’s Basketball Adds Trajan Wesley to 2025-26 Coaching Staff

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack Basketball Team and Head Coach Matt Braeuer announced the hiring of Trajan Wesley on Saturday morning.
Trajan Wesley begins his first season with the Lumberjacks after spending last season with Head Coach Matt Braeuer at Texas Tech University. Wesley has spent the last two seasons with the Red Raiders basketball program serving in a graduate assistant role.
A Navasota, Texas native, Wesley played four seasons at Louisiana from 2018-22 before finishing his collegiate career at Prairie View A&M during the 2022-23 season. He would play in 94 games during his collegiate career.
Prior to his collegiate playing days, Wesley prepped at Cypress Falls High School where he was Class 6A All-State selection and helped lead his team to the Class 6A State Championship in 2017 during his junior year.
Wesley earned his bachelor's degree in business management from Louisiana in 2022 and earned his master's degree from Texas Tech in Interdisciplinary Studies this year.
