
Casey Lish Named Associate Athletic Director of Annual Giving

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- Michael McBroom and Stephen F. Austin Athletics announced the hiring of Casey Lish as Associate Athletic Director of Annual Giving, Wednesday afternoon.
Lish has spent the past ten years at West Texas A&M (WT) in a variety of roles. Most recently he served as Deputy Director of Athletics for the 2024-25 season. Lish oversaw all aspects external relations, including marketing, fan experience, communications, ticketing, alumni relations, and corporate relations. Lish's primary duty was athletic development, which includes the Buffalo Club Annual Campaign, donor relations, campaign planning, capital projects and premium seating in Bain-Schaeffer Buffalo Stadium. In addition to the external operations, Lish assisted with athletic administration, including oversight of the Buff and Lady Buff Basketball teams.
"We are so fortunate to be able to welcome Casey to our team at SFA," said Director of Athletics Michael McBroom. "He's one of the best and brightest athletic administrators I have seen in action and his experience is a perfect fit for our needs. I know Lumberjack fans are going to enjoy getting to know the Lish family as they relocate to the Piney Woods and I'm looking forward to seeing his contributions to our program and community."
The Pocatello, Idaho, native is a former baseball student-athlete, spending time at NJCAA member College of Southern Idaho before finishing his playing career at WT under current Lumberjack Baseball Head Coach Matt Vanderburg. Due to an injury, Lish left the playing field and joined the coaching staff of the Buffs for three years before making the jump to administration.
Lish earned multiple degrees including, an Associate of Art's degree in Liberal Arts from CSI, a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Exercise Sciences, as well as a Master of Science in Sports Management from WT.
Lish and his wife Nikki have three daughters Kinsley (8), Kollins (6) and Korinne (4).
