14 Beach Volleyball Players Given Academic Recognition by Sun Belt

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- On Wednesday afternoon, the SFA Women's Beach Volleyball Team had 14 players receive academic recognition from the Sun Belt Conference.

The Beach Volleyball team had 10 players named to the Sun Belt Academic Commissioner's list. Callie Neumann, Lizzie Denyer, Kelly Johnson, Madison Hall, Madison Morror, Natalie Bennett, Olivia Duhon, Sophia Myers, Toby Sherman, and Victoria Simmang were all named to the Commissioner's list. The Commissioner's List for the Sun Belt honors student-athletes who earned a 3.5 GPA or better during the 2022-23 school year.

In addition to those ten players, the Beach Volleyball team had four additional players named to the Sun Belt Academic Honor Roll list. Abigail Elder, Chloe Culver, Elania Amador, and Hannah Ogden all were named to the Sun Belt Academic Honor Roll, which honors student-athletes who maintained a GPA between 3.00 and 3.49 for the 2022-23 school year.
