
Rob Hansen Completes Staff with Hirings of Mara Clark and Keith Reiter

Nacogdoches, Texas- Rob Hansen completed his staff with the hiring of Keith Reiter and Mara Clark. Reiter was named Assistant Track and Field Coach. Clark was named as the program's Director of Communications.
Keith Reiter spent the past nine years at Tiffin University. Reiter has coached over 49 student-athletes who qualified for the NCAA DII National Championships, including All-American finishes in the men's pole vault, high jump, heptathlon, and women's high jump, and pentathlon. Most recently he made Tiffin school history by coaching the first woman National Champion in TU history, Marisa Gwinner, who competed in the 2019 NCAA outdoor high jump. He has played a role in Tiffin's NCAA National Championship indoor titles, Runner-Up finishes, and Third Place finishes, earning seven team trophies in all over the last five years.
SFA Head Coach Robert Hansen is ecstatic to hire Reiter. "I am thrilled about Keith joining the Lumberjack Fam! He's a great coach, very technically minded and also a really strong recruiter. Keith connects well with his athletes, and in the 12 year's I have known him, I have never known someone who doesn't like and respect Coach Reiter!", Head Coach Hansen said.
Mara Clark is coming from Georgetown College where she was an Assistant Track and Field Coach. Clark served as the coach for the throwing squad and served as the strength and conditioning coach. Prior to her time as an assistant coach, Clark was an exceptional athlete at Central Michigan University that competed in the discus, hammer throw, and weight throw.
Coach Hansen is looking forward to the addition of Mara Clark. "Mara is a great communicator, she is super organized, and she connects well with everyone she comes in contact with. She's going to be a fantastic addition to our staff; I am ecstatic to have her here in Nac!", said Coach Hansen.
Head Coach Robert Hansen has now completed his staff and is excited to get the season started. "With our staff finally being complete, we feel whole in a lot of ways. Our staff is focused on continuing our championship acumen and providing a great student-athlete experience to everyone who steps foot in the Piney Woods!", Hansen said.
